All you have to do is swallow it an hour or so before your appointment and you'll feel relaxed and calm by the time you arrive at our Lorton dental office for your appointment. You cannot drive yourself to your appointment after taking an oral sedative. Please be sure to arrange transportation to and from our office!
Laughing Gas
At Lorton Town Dental, laughing gas is administered using a mask, allowing you to feel more at ease within minutes. Laughing gas is gentler than oral sedatives - you should feel back to normal by the time your treatment is completed! Most of our patients are good candidates for this form of sedation, including our pediatric dental patients.
