How it Works

This procedure involves extracting any remaining teeth, placing 4-6 implants per arch, and attaching a low-profile bridge to those implants. The implants are often positioned at specific angles to avoid the patient's sinuses, eliminating the need for costly bone grafts and lengthy healing periods.

Our doctor has enhanced the traditional All-On-4 procedure by customizing it based on their expertise and understanding, resulting in an even more favorable patient outcome. At Indiana Dentures and Implants, we thoroughly evaluate each case and tailor our treatment to the individual patient's anatomy. Your doctor will implant between four and six implants per arch and temporary fixed bridges will be installed while your implants integrate with your jawbones and your mouth heals. Once your healing process is complete, the doctor and lab technician will design your final teeth using zirconia. This material is significantly stronger than the typical acrylic denture teeth offered at other dental practices. Zirconia also provides a more natural and lifelike appearance, is more hygienic, and is resistant to staining. As a result, these teeth will have a longer lifespan and a superior aesthetic compared to the acrylic/titanium hybrid bridges commonly found elsewhere.

Am I a Candidate?

The majority of patients, including those who have been informed that they lack sufficient bone for dental implants, can undergo this procedure. To avoid the sinuses and utilize the strongest bone, your doctor will employ a combination of straight and angled implants. This technique typically eliminates the necessity for costly and time-consuming sinus augmentation bone grafts. During your complimentary consultation, your doctor will conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine if All-On-4, also known as "Teeth in a Day," is suitable for you.

frequently asked questions

Yes! However, while your implants and teeth are securely placed from day one, we do ask that you maintain a soft diet during the 4 month healing period. What exactly does that mean? A good general rule is you can eat anything you can cut with a plastic fork. The reason for this is that you are investing in something that could last you many decades, even the rest of your life, and maintaining a softer diet during the healing period will allow the best integration of your implants into your bone and help ensure the best long-term outcome.
Our final bridge is made of zirconia, which offers superior strength and resistance to staining and wear compared to traditional acrylic All-On-4 teeth provided by many other offices. It is important to be aware of the type of teeth you will receive if you choose another office. If you opt for acrylic denture teeth with a titanium bar, expect staining around your teeth and the need for replacement every 5-10 years. Additionally, ensure you are well-informed about the costs involved in the surgery, temporaries, and final teeth. Some offices may initially charge a surgery/temporary fee, only for you to later discover an additional $5,000-$15,000 is required for your final teeth.
